10- Minutes or less, Edamame with Sautéed Garlic & Pepper

We're back with snacks. Insert sweet, spicy, garlicky, edamame sautéed in delicious teriyaki sauce. We know this isn't your typical chips and cookie sort of snack but just trust the process. This recipe is a keeper.



 

Ingredients

  • 1 small Red Onion sliced into strips

  • 1 pepper sliced into strips

  • 5 garlic cloves chopped

  • Sesame oil for the sautee

  • 1 cup of soy sauce

  • 3/4 cup honey

  • All-purpose seasoning

Let’s Get Started


In a skillet, drizzle sesame oil to cover the bottom of the skillet. Sautee onion and peppers for 2 mins. Next, add in your edamame and garlic. Sprinkle in your all-purpose seasoning and sauté vegetables for 2-3 mins. In a separate bowl combine soy sauce and honey. Add sauce to the vegetables. Simmer until sauce thickens and edamame is well coated. We added an additional sprinkling of black pepper to add a bit more of a pepperiness to the edamame.


Voila you've got you a quick and healthy snack option. This dish can be made in under 10 minutes.
